Tiffany
LMSW
Therapist
Since 2003, Tiffany has been involved in working with at-risk youth and adults, first through the Division of Youth Services and also in direct care services with special needs women through the Department of Mental Health since 2004. In 2008, she joined the Missouri Children's Division team, working in the areas of alternative care, investigations, and finally as a specialist for Missouri’s Children Division. While completing her Master’s Degree in Social Work from University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2014,Tiffany sought out Lifeworks for her student practicum.
After receiving her masters degree, Tiffany continued her work with at-risk families through Children's Division, primarily in the rural areas of western Missouri, and became disheartened with the lack of much needed services within her home area. This frustration goaded her into reconnecting with Lifeworks, ultimately rejoining the team in 2018 as a therapist for families and kids, bringing much needed services to an under-served area.
When the Lifeworks team found out that Tiffany was returning, the entire team was thrilled. Tiffany's expertise on how "the system" works is an invaluable resource for all of us, however, it's her sweet demeanor, true acceptance of others and authentic compassion for people that sets her apart.
